GLP-1 Coach is built around a simple idea: your health data is yours, and it stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what that means in practice.
None. GLP-1 Coach does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data, health data, or usage data with us or any third party.
There are no accounts. No sign-up. No analytics SDKs. No advertising SDKs. No crash-reporting third parties. No tracking.
Everything you log — injections, side effects, weight, nutrition, notes — is stored in a local database on your iPhone, inside the app's sandboxed container. It is encrypted at rest by iOS. It is included in your encrypted iCloud device backup (if you have one enabled). We have no ability to read it.
If you grant permission, GLP-1 Coach reads the following categories from Apple Health to power your trends and Coach insights:
This data is read on-device and is never transmitted off your device. GLP-1 Coach does not write to Apple Health in this version. You can review or revoke our HealthKit permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → GLP-1 Coach.
If your device supports Apple Intelligence, the Coach features use Apple's on-device language model to read your logs and write your weekly summary, correlation insights, and plateau notes. These calls run entirely on your iPhone. Your data is not sent to Apple's servers, OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other AI provider. If your device does not support Apple Intelligence, the same insights are produced using simple on-device rule-based summaries — still 100% local.
If you allow notifications, GLP-1 Coach schedules local notifications (next-dose reminder, weekly Coach summary). These are delivered by iOS on your device; we do not operate a notification server and there is no remote push.
Subscriptions to GLP-1 Coach Pro are processed by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment, billing, and renewals according to Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only the anonymized purchase event needed to unlock Pro features on your device — no payment information, no email address, no name.
GLP-1 Coach is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone of any age (see above — we collect nothing).
Because we do not collect or store your data on any server, there is no data export, deletion, or correction process to request from us — you already have complete control. To remove all your data, delete the app; this removes the local database and all logged entries from your device.
GLP-1 Coach is a personal tracking and reflection tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, diagnostic, or dosing advice. All Coach summaries are framed as personal reflections, not medical guidance. Always discuss changes to your medication or treatment with your prescriber. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (US) or your local emergency number.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and surface a notice inside the app. If a future version of the app introduces any data collection (which is not currently planned), we will require your explicit opt-in.
