AfterAction does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter — your service profile, symptoms, journal entries, photos, voice notes, and claim drafts — stays on your iPhone. There is no account. There is no cloud sync. There are no analytics SDKs. There are no advertisements.
The AI claim insights feature uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models. Your service profile and symptom data are processed locally on your iPhone to generate suggestions. Nothing is sent to any server — not Apple's, not ours, not anyone else's. On older iOS versions where Foundation Models is unavailable, the app uses a sample-data demo mode that processes nothing.
If you grant permission, AfterAction reads sleep and resting heart-rate values from Apple Health to display alongside your symptoms. AfterAction never writes to Apple Health and never transmits any health data off your device.
Optional Support Pack and Founder purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. Apple handles transaction records under their privacy policy. AfterAction receives only an entitlement flag indicating that you bought the cosmetic Service Ribbon — no card data, no email, no name.
You can erase all data at any time from Settings → Your Data → Erase All Data. The wipe is immediate and irreversible. Deleting the app from your iPhone also removes everything.
AfterAction is intended for adults researching VA disability benefits. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone of any age (we do not collect data from anyone, period).
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and a brief summary of the change will appear here.
